A Q&A with Sarah Higgins: Herzing-伯明翰’s New 校园总统

In January 2020, Sarah Higgins was named president of Herzing大学’s 伯明翰大学, bringing more than 13 years of higher 教育 experience to the position. We had the opportunity to chat with Sarah about her experience in higher 教育, 她对校园的目标是:

你是南方人吗?

I started in higher 教育 通过 internships at the institutions I was attending while earning my Associate of Arts at Arizona Western College 和 my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations 和 Strategic Media at Arizona State University. I later went on to earn my Masters of 企业管理 at the University of North Alabama 和 my Masters of Education in Education at the University of the Pacific.

What inspired you to pursue a career in higher 教育?

I worked in both 年龄ncy 和 private settings for several years 和 missed the fulfillment I had experienced working in higher 教育. What are a few of your goals for the 伯明翰大学?

What are you most excited about as you begin your career at Herzing?
